Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. I am sorry to hear about your ongoing bleeding postpartum. As a c-section mom, it is important to keep in mind that bleeding can persist for a few weeks after delivery, but if it continues past the usual timeframe, it may indicate an underlying issue. It is crucial to consult your healthcare provider to rule out any complications such as infection, retained placenta, or abnormal healing of the incision site.
In the meantime, make sure to take it easy, avoid heavy lifting, and prioritize rest to aid in your recovery. It is not recommended to take any medication without professional guidance, as certain medications can interfere with the healing process or breastfeeding, if applicable.
By seeking medical advice promptly, your healthcare provider can assess your specific situation and provide tailored recommendations or interventions. Remdember that your health and well-being are of utmost importance, especially during this postpartum period. Take care and prioritize your recovery journey.x

Look bleeding should not be there for more than 40 to 45 days on the higher side it’s been two months that means it’s 60 days plus already and you are still bleeding you shouldn’t wait any further I would recommend recommended to consult your gynaecologist she can advise you and guide you with the right medicines that you need to follow to control bleeding and if you need to start with Iron supplements as well
