Q.

Hi, do breast milk reduce due to getting periods early? i got my periods after 2 months of delivery. i m exclusively breast feed my baby. what should i do to maintain increase in supply of breast milk?

A. It Normal but also I would like to clarify the fact that your parents or your menstruation cycle after your delivery has got nothing to do with the quality of your breast milk they too are not at all connected so please do not get confused if you’re facing any issue with your lactation kindly taken advice from a lactation specialist please

A. Its normal to get periods early post delivery, it will not affect the milk production as long as you breast feed. you can normally feed the baby during periods. And to maintain supply continue taking iron and calcium supplements.
