Hi..can you please explain the side effects of sugar given for baby

I’m Not aware about any side-effect as such because I’ve been giving sugar to my child’s is the age of six months itself because my paediatrician said that I should give proper salt and sugar and I have not seen any side-effect with my daughter so I don’t think so there is actually any side-effect
