Q.

Hi am 30 years old . Iam pregnant women of 5 months I have pre diabetes can I use jaggery in milk? since my hemoglobin is low suggest other alternatives to improve hemoglobin without jaggery

A. no dear you should not add jaggery to the milk since you are prediabetic there are various rich sources of iron like egg, non veg , organ meat green leafy vegetables black til, adiv whole legumes and whole Dal's bajra, ragi, rajgira Citrus fruits, squeeze lemon on food for absorption

A. hello jaggery in small amount is safe and also it is recommended to have hb rich food in the diet which should be better any concern then it would be better to check with your doctor and she will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly which would be better and also safe
