hi All, my baby's birth weight is 3.3 then after 1 week it was reduced to 3.1. after 4 months my baby weight was 5.8 now 4 months 24 days baby weight is 6. he is very active and achieving the milestones, but weight increased only 200 gms his urination was good. is this normal

Namaste Mom, Babies tend to after birth loose some weight and its normal, and then first regain the birth weight and then start to put on weight. monthly weight gain is expected in range of 400 gm to 1 kg and by age of 4 to 6 months almost double the birth weight
