Hey Doctor I’m a new mother and little concerned about my baby complexion. Her skin tone is on darker side with redness. When can I expect her true color? Me and My husband are on fair side that’sy concerned how can she be on darker end?

A. hi mom. skin colour is hereditary which cannot be changed with any ointment or oil. the baby skin colour will be exactly known by six months of age. is the baby's skin is getting tanned because of exposure to sunlight then definitely you can use a sunscreen.
