Q.
Hello Sir, my son is 1 year 2 months old and he is having fever for 2 days. The is ranging between 99.5 to 100.3 and inspite of giving dolo and antibiotics the fever is not going. what should we do.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. fever is the response of the body towards any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body and only when the temperature is above 99F it is called as fever, so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose which can be again repeated after every 5 - 6 hours if required and do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever in between the doseg is.

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 10 m old boy3 years agoA. Hi mom Viral fever can take 3-5 days to subside. so no need to worry. Continue with the medicine prescribed by the doctor. Give easily digestible food like khichdi, rice curd, banana, apple etc to ur baby
