#AskTheExpert Hello Sir, My daughter is 1 year old. She is having constipation from last 15 days and she cries while passing the stool. Also from yesterday evening she is having fever ranging between 100 and 101. I gave 1.5 ml of paracetamol drops but it after 5-6 hours the fever again comes back. Can you please suggest. Thank you

Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 months . you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations ifn proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age . Medications are required but it should be givden only in medical supervision .
