Q.
hello sir my baby has not passed motion since last 7 days. can i give her lactulose Or should give external glycerin what is recommended for baby she is 40days old she is taking colic aid and neopeptine from last 3 days 5 drops twice. a. day but still motion not passed

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. it is totally normal for small children less than 6 months of age not to pass stool for 10 days also.
it is also normal if they are passing stool more than 6 or 7 times per day.
if the consistency of the stool is Semi solid to solid there is no need to worry about the frequencyd as well as the colour (the colour can range from yellow brown green to black) of the stool.
also strainingd while passing urine and stool is normal.
Do burping for 15 to 20 minutes

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl1 Year agoA. Constipation for 10 to 12 days is completely normal in this age as a child is on hundred percent liquid only so if the child is passing proper urine and taking all the feeds properly without any hassle then you don’t have to worry about it at all
