Hello, My son is suffering from cold? which syrup is to given and dosage? He is 2years old and his weight is 12kgs??

A. Hello, your baby boy is 2 years old and he is having cold so give him syrup maxtra 3 ml twice a day for three days and vicks rub at chest

A. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest. Syp As a part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .
