Q.

Hello, My son is 9 months old. He does not pass stool for 2-3 days and whenever does potty after those 2-3 days, potty is very dry/hard and he has to put too much pressure to get it released. Can you please suggest some homely remedy to deal with this and to help him for easy bowl movement ?

A. I would wish to have homely remedies and avoid to give any medidcation. Pls suggest the homely remedies.

A. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 months . you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age . Medications are required but it should be givevxn only in medical supervision .
