Q.

Hello, My son is 3.5 years old and he still doesn't eat/chew food. He can have semi solid daliya, khichdi. sooji kheer but refuses to eat roti, chilla, parantha, even rice. he simply doesn't want to chew food just swallow it. Pls note he eats banana, apple, biscuits- chew these well. I have been trying for more than 6 months now to Make him eat roti parantha but completely failed. he wont eat anything for days. Finally I have to give up. pls suggest any tips for making him enjoy and eat food. He enjoys making roti with me very well spends time in kitchen but doesn't feel.like eating. pls help, I am in great tension.

A. Introduce finger foods to him like thin slices of fruits salads puffed rice hone made French fries and try roti pizza and don’t force him to chew and let him learn on his own

So Since your child like all these things which is why your child is comfortably chewing them and your child is not interested in eating regular food which is why your child is troubling you so give it in solid format only if your child is not eating it’s fine don’t give food whenever your child will be hungry your child will be bound to eat whatever you are giving don’t surrender in front of your child
