Hello My son is 2.6 yr from past 2 days he is stammering while speaking the first word like c -c-c cat later he completes the word or sentence. This is not happening everytime. Previously he was speaking properly. Is this a point to worry ? please answer

A. Developmental stuttering. This is the most common type of stuttering in children. It usually happens when a child is between ages 2 and 5. It may happen when a child's speech and language development lags behind what he or she needs or wants to say.
