Q.

Hello my daughter is 26mnths old and she speaks only basic words like mamma papa nana nani etc, she can speak cold drink and orange but not paani, she uses signs but doesn't make any effort to speak anything else. Should I consult a therapist

A. it is advisable to meet your doctor for examination of milestones and need of speech therapy DEVELOPMENT by the age of 2 years the child should be able to speak few words with meaning in the sentence and should be able to understand all the commands and orders given by the parents and if you feel that they are not present in your child it is important to meet your pediatrician to assess the growth milestones of the child and whether there is any need of therapy or not
