Author of questionMom of 2 children4 years agoA. Thank you soo much for helping me. We are working on this since 1 year and half as they started speaking very late and it's improved very much. Our pediatric said (we consulted before covid) its OK wait until they are turns 5. Some kids start late and no need for speech therapy.
Main problem is few letters they are not pronouncing correctly. They sing rhymes and give answers in short sentences but not comfortable in long sentences
P. S. They are premature babies (born at 31 weeks) so we had done all tests including BERA test for hearing. And I also don't think they don't hear.

Speech is also dependent on hearing ability so need to check that too by ENT doctor.
Reduce screen time, encourage conversations , recite play time and bed time stories to your baby. Improve interaction avoid tv avoid smartphones to baby.
Incase all such tricks do not prove successful then should not delay help seeking and should see a pediatrician and speech therapist soon.
