Q.

hello, My baby is 6 and half months old and since the last few days, he has been showing a bit less interest in eating and wants to be held all the time. cries randomly but is consoled once we hold him. He also keeps rubbing his ears constantly. sometimes I lie him down and he will start crying so loudly as if he is in distress. is this something to be concerned about?

A. hi mostly the reason is colic or teething. so please feed your child on demand. burp your baby on your shoulder in upright position after each feeding for 10 to 15 minutes. as you are nursing mother, eat easy to digest food. give Massage on stomach in clockwise direction with firm hands. move your child legs in cycling motions. give Massage with clean finger on sore gums of your child. provide silicone teether. maintain good hygiene. although if Condition remains same, please check for ear infection also.
