Hello My baby is 5.20months old n e is having seviour cold n his nose is continuesly flowing still I’m giving naso clear drops... Plzzz suggest wit proper medication

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cold is a viral disease that may occur with symptoms like sneezing, running nose, cough ,sore throat, nasal congestion and fever.at times it may be allergic too.
Treatment consists of antihistamines antipyretics analgesics and decongestants .
steam inhalation would help in relieving congestion n soothing the irritation in nose and throat .
Medicines like stinarest/wikoryl / Alex cold can be given in a proper dose according to the weight for 3-5 days as per the symptoms but it it wiall be better to take only under medical guidance.so please get examination and treatment done by your pediatrician it will be better.it is not advisable to self medicate

Kindly Consult your doctor because they will advise you with the right medicine for your child see your child is too small right now it would be better to 1st get your check the size is personally with your doctor and then go ahead with their prescription only
