Hello My baby is 4 months and 3 days old My family members make my baby sit continuously for 30-40 mins Is it ok or his posture will get affected?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy1 Year agoA. avoid you can make the child sit with support after completion of 5 months of age. the thing is that the back of the child should be well suppodrted along with the head as well as the bottom of the child. after making the child sit if you see that the child is uncomfortable then kindly avoid sitting of the child again for at least one to two weeks

Please tell your family members not to do it you are accidentally going to damage the spine or create some problem for life now you’re not meant to make your child sit with support under completing the age of six months it’s a very unhealthy practice that you are doing with your child please stop it right away
