Q.

Hello, my baby is 4 months and 21 days old. I am not exclusively breast feeding her as my breast milk wasn't sufficient. I used to get around 120 ml breast milk per day and now it has drastically dropped to 40ml per day. I am taking Lactare tablet thrice a day along with Vardaan powder with milk twice a day but still low milk supply. Please advise or prescribe me right medicine for same. Additionally my periods have been started from March. Will this impact milk supply?

A. Thanks for your response. :) My baby doesn't latch well so I am pumping milk for her. If I pump more will that not increase my bm supply?

A. Hi mom Periods will not effect ur milk supply. Continue to have lactare tablets to increase bm. The more u feed the more milk production will be there. Have raw papaya in your diet. This helps tu increase bm. Take care
