It's not uncommon for babies to suddenly start only taking milk from one side. One way to encourage your baby to feed on both sides is to try offering the "less preferred" side first when your baby is most hungry. You can also try gently massaging the breast while feeding or pumping a little to stimulate milk flow on that side. Remember, every baby is different, so don't worry if they continue to prefer one side. As long as they are getting enough milk and gaining weight, everything is OK.
