hello, my baby is 19 months old she is only speaking very very few little words like mommy , and telling things like , I'm thirsty , I'm hungry ,and shouts a lot , is it normal, or any speach delay ,

Uma RamMom of a 7 yr old boy3 years agoA. Hai good morning !! Generally babies start speaking words by one-one and half year old responses to simple commands like asking basic needs with 1-2 words, giving eye contact, responding to name...
As far you have mentioned baby is responding but if you found that baby not responding to name, not giving eye contact, repeating only 5-10 words consult developmental pediatrician for assessment.
