Q.

Hello...my baby 10 and half months, weighs around 7.5kg. her birth weight was 3 kg. She is very active & healthy. feeding her 3 meals & snack. Her growth is also fine as she crawls & stands with support. Should i be worried about her weight much?

A. Namaste Mom, Approximately by age of 4 to 6 months a baby is expected to almost double their birth weight & later it takes about 1 year to triple it up. give the baby now soft consistency foods and almost nearing to family foods as such

A. No this is decency if we go by the general convention of calculating the weight it should be 9 kg by the age of 12 months if you look at it this is decent it is little less but it is decent there is a scope of increment of the weight which you can do by giving good diet and proteins in that
