Q.

Hello Mam, Ayaansh is 25 days old, he is getting continuous water in eyes and then it dries up. The baby is facing problem while opening eyes. what should be done?

A. show him once to ur paediatrician. watery eyes are normal condition in early age..baby's tear duct may not have fully developed yet. You can remove any sticky liquid or crusting by bathing her eye with cooled boiled water and cotton wool.

A. Eye discharge in newborns is common and often the result of a blocked tear duct. The blockage will usually clear up by itself within 4 to 6 months. However, newborns with eye redness, eye discharge, or excessive watering from the eyes should see a doctor to diagnose the cause and to rule out an eye infection.
