However, the site of administration may vary: ✔ For infants under 1 year: It is usually given in the anterolateral thigh (upper outer thigh muscle). ✔ For older children (above 1 year): It can be given in the upper arm (deltoid muscle). At 9 months, if your baby received SIPV3 in the right arm, it is not a major issue, but typically, for younger babies, vaccines are preferred in the thigh for better absorption and fewer side effects.
