hello! I wanted to ask if it's safe for my baby if I am advised to take estrogen based birth control by my gynaecologist since ai have very bad PCOS symptoms including acne. will estrogen stop my Breastmilk supply or will it harm my baby in any way? we are ready to wean since is 18 months but I would like to know the impact it may have on him. thanks

Sai Prasanthi R LMom of a 11 yr 6 m old boy2 years agoA. Hello dear parent! There will be changes. Would suggest you to take further advice from your doctor. Eat a well balanced healthy diet and keep yourself hydrated all through the day while breastfeeding your baby and taking medication.
