hello I am in my 17th week pregnancy. My cervix length is 2.5. Dr suggested cervix stitches.. Is it important to avoid preterm delivery?? Are there any medicines to avoid preterm labour instead of this operation.??

A. if cervix length 2.5 cm. You can get cervical encirclage operation done so as to avoid chances of preterm delivery. Consult with your doctor as soon as possible to get the operation done as early as possible
