#asktheexperts my cervix length is 2.8. Dr said it might be preterm delivery. any advice pls

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 1 Year agoA. yes your cervix length is small so there are chances of getting pre term delivery. if you have not yet entered 16 week of pregnancy then you can plan for Cervical encirclage operative with consultation of your doctor

Seen such a situation mostly Dr suggested to get a cervical stitch done and after that you are probably mostly kept on a bed rest so that you can pull off your pregnancy up to the maximum time that you can if your doctor advise is that then that is going to be good in your case otherwise whatever Dr suggest
