Home Remedies:
✔ Saline Nasal Drops – Use 2-3 drops in each nostril to loosen mucus and clear the nose.
✔ Steam Therapy – Sit in a steamy bathroom with her for a few minutes to relieve congestion.
✔ Elevate Head While Sleeping – Place a slight elevation under her mattress to help drain mucus.
✔ Breastfeeding or Warm Fluids – If she's on solids, give warm soups or lukewarm water to keep her hydrated.
✔ Gentle Chest Rub – Apply a baby-safe rub (like mustard oil with garlic) on her chest and back.
When to See a Doctor?
❌ High fever (above 100.4°F).
❌ Breathing difficulty or fast breathing.
❌ Mucus turning yellow/green and thick for many days.
❌ Wheezing or chest congestion.
