Q.

Hello Dr. This Question for Me I have a baby for 5 month old. After delivery my periods was normal and continues every month. But now after 4 months I missed my periods and I tested my PREGNANCY TEST 2 TIMES & IT'S RESULT IS NAGITIVE and now I am waiting for my periods but now day to day its too late. it's 15 days up according to month wise calendar. Please suggest me if this is normal in this condition as I also have a 4 years old girl also. Means this is my 2nd baby who is now 5 months old. Or any other kind of test I have to prefer.

A. There will be irregularities in the menstrual cycle even up to one year from the day you get your first cycle after giving birth. So it is OK to get your periods a bit late. Do the pregnancy test two weeks after the last intercourse to get accurate results. If it is still negative then you can consult your doctor
