Hello Dr.My daughter is 11 months old.Few days from birth itself she is getting water from her left eyes not all the time but often especially soon after she wakes up and after bath.What will be the reason for this?

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. It’s better to consult your Paediatrician once and get it checked as it helps in proper diagnosis of the problem and clean the eyes a couple of times in a day with cotton dipped in water

Watery eyes is due to the blocked tear duct. To open this apply light pressure with ur fingers on the side of ur baby nose from top to bottom towards the nostril. It will be fine.
If it doesn't improve then consult with ur doctor for the same.
