Hello Dr I was taking birth control pills from last 5 months continously. This month I had not got my period so again I start taking pills..what will be the effect on pregnancy if am pregnant and taking birth control pills

A. if you think that you may be pregnant you should first get proper examination done for confirmation either by doing Urine Pregnancy Test or by doing sonography after 10 days of missed period date and only then restart with the medications if it is negative
