Hello Dr I am 15 weeks pregnant and suffering from vaginal infection due to boils discharge burning sensation and itching around. My Dr has prescribed Candifem Vaginal Tablets. May I know are these tablets safe to use in pregnancy or can you suggest some other safe medicines which will not affect baby in any way. Thank you in advance.

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. since the tablets prescribed by the doctor are only working locally probably there may not be any problem for the baby inside you can use them you are not taking them orally to have effect on the baby

Hi mom Consult with your doctor once for proper medical examination and treatment Take a good care Wash area often with lukewarm water Wash hands often before touching anything Apply candid cream Consult your doctor once for proper medical examination and treatment
