Q.

hello doctor, my daughter is 1 year old ,her weight is 7.5 kg , what can i do to increase her weight?

A. Hello mom a full term baby almost tend to triple their birth weight by the age of 1 year and then it takes about 5 years to double that up . Now their diet should be now usual family foods , so you can give rice , roti , dals , oats , egg , milk, panner , curds , ghee , fruits and vegetables, also chana , rajma etc , sago , dry fruits and nuts

A. hi well, weight is at borderline but to increase it ,I would suggest to give Healthy diet. especially multigrain food items, high protine food items like milk and milk based products etc more
