Q.

hello doctor my baby is 8 months old he was exclusively breastfed till 6 months after that we introduced solids.he eats well but the thing is we tried to introduce formula milk but he doesn't take it..we tried with bottle as well as spoon but he is not taking formula. please suggest what to do as i don't think my milk is sufficient for him now due to decreased quantity his weight at birth was 3.66kg and now is 8.5kg

A. hi dear Experts recommend that babies be breastfed exclusively (without formula, water, juice, non–breast milk, or food) for the first 6 months. Then, they recommend continuing to breastfeed for 2 years (and beyond) if it works for you and your baby. Any length of time your baby can be breastfed is beneficial.
