Hello doctor, my baby is 5 months old. Till now he was sleeping at night , getting up only 2 times. Now he is getting up every 2 hours, even day time he is having disturb sleep. please suggest me.

A. baby is 5 months old and is having disturbed sleep teething makes baby cranky due to pain swelling and gum irritation. Can give a silicon or wooden teether or pacifier for ease irritation. clean and massage baby s gums by fingers. give vit d 3 vita must d 3 or KLM D 3 or D SOL 800 I U 0. 5 ml or 400 I U 1 ml daily till 1 year for strong bones and teeth

A. Hello mom This can be because of colic. Check baby’s stomach is tight then baby is having colic. In such case you can apply hing and water mixture on baby stomach. It will help baby to pass gas and give relief in pain. And also start doing massage before baby go to sleep in night it will help baby to sleep well and for long hours.
