Q.

Hello doctor! My baby is 2 and a half months old. Her appetite is getting less day by day. She has become very thin. What do I do to increase her appetite? Also she’s not much into snacks. Just a chocolate per day .

A. dear mum, you should stop giving chocolates. these are loaded with sugar and kills your baby's appetite. chocolate should not be given as a snack. it also results in unhealthy weight gain and leads to oral cavity. give small frequent meals 5 to 6 times a day.. include seasonal vegetables, green leafy vegetables and fruits important for appetite. curd helps. spices like jeera, Hing, mint powder aid digestion. do not bottle feed, it reduces appetite for top food.
