hello doctor iam 38 years old mon to 13 month old baby. I had my first baby via C-Section due to hypertension. please advice when should i plan for next pregnancy given the age factor..

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 1 Year agoA. no since your age is almost 38 your body is not so good enough to handle the pregnancy and also if you had previously hypertension during pregnancy it is better not to avoid second pregnancy

C-section I would recommend you when the older one turns about 2 1/2 then you should try the pregnancy because the C-section mother it is good to maintain a gap of two years to 3 years that’s what the doctor say I can agree with your age condition but actually with a C-section there is a restriction so you’ll have to wait for at least this much time
