Q.

hello doctor. I'm a mother of 4 month baby boy. he had a cold so still 3 n half month vaccination not given for him . we can wait to recover for his cold (negdi) to take vaccination r even cold we can take vaccination. what to do plzzz suggest . its already 15 days delayed for vaccination it's late nothing will problem . can we wait.

A. can give vaccination simple fever , cough and cold as well as simple discomfort of the child for a few days is not a contraindication for vaccination and it is advisable to go for vaccination at the earliest. the maximum you can delay would be around 2-3 weeks but after that it is advisable not to delay the vaccination if still in confusion you can meet your doctor who will examine the child and tell you whether vaccination delay is preferable or you can go for vaccination

A. hi parent please consult with your pediatrician usually the same can be delayed if she had cold cough and fever or she has weekness keep. her well hydrated take sunbathing daily with her head and ears covered in the morning but not under cloudy sky
