Q.

Hello Doctor I have cold since Monday...there is no fever but I feel cold...n I have loss of smell n taste...I have done covid test..it's negative... but abhi b mjhe smell n taste nhi arha.....between these days I take a medicine(cifran 500) for tooth ache on Tuesday. How I get my smell n taste again ?

A. Even if the test came negative if there is loss of smell and taste it is still conclusion of Covid infection only and you need to consult your doctor. Do inform that you might be having Covid before hand to the doctor. Also sometimes the smell and taste come within 15 to 30 days but rarely that may prolong to six months alsoWrite Your Answer Here

A. Well. See if you’re not Covid positive maybe it is due to some other reason you go for further checkup with the doctor because without proper check up nobody can tell you as to when are you going to get your smell and taste bag it’s very difficult to comment on it so please discuss it with your doctor ones
