hello doctor I am mother of 4 month old baby girl, a week back i have noticed tat suddenly my milk production have reduced n even cant able to pump one ounce after 2hrs gap of feed and nw today i got my first periods after 4 months of delivery does this affect on production of milk.

ExpertVandana SharmaNutritionist4 years agoA. Hello mom normally periods have no relation to the quantity of milk production . But some women have to periods only once they stop breast feeding , so not to worry you can take support of formula milk and as much as possible you are able to produce your milk feed that.
