hello doctor from 20 days i was v tensed due to cold we consulted pediatrician n he gave me nostril dolocold o. o5 percent nasal drops and hydrocitrizine syrup and antibiotic tblt half half is this all medicine safe fr my 2 mnth baby I'm v tensed

A. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated . Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine . As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful . Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as pder the sympvytoms . Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .

A. hi dear A baby under 2 months old should be seen by a doctor if they have a cold. This will help rule out more serious conditions, and will also put your mind at ease. Fever is one way your baby's body works to fight off colds.
