hello doctor, can zyr cold syrup be given to my baby if 3 years 3 months old having cold and wet cough? cough is more during nights and having disturbed sleep. baby is 17kgs. what should be the dosage and how many days? please suggest

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated .
Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine .
As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful .
Medigycines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .g
Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .
