Hello doc , my baby legs are shaking whenever i press his foot. Iโ€™m very worried. His doc said it is because of calcium deficiency. Is it true. Please reply sir๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

A. shivering in newborn can be due to startle reflex and less likely due to calcium deficiency. kindly continue to give breastfeeding to the child and take a video of the shivering and meet your doctor who will tell you whether it is normal startle reflex or it is due to hypocalcemia. meet dr for need of calcium and dose
