Q.

hello doc! my baby girl is 3.5 month,one paed has given 0.5ml vit D for a year and other paed adviced 0.25ml vit D for 6 months (both 800IU). I am confused whom to follow!

A. hello generally 4.5 ml of vitamin drops is given for the baby at this age till 1 year and if your doctor as adviced for 0.5ml check for the frequency of it being advised as it can be twice in a day and in such case it is not a problem otherwise total of 0.5 ml As to be given in a day
