hello doc my 3 year old daughter was suffering from fever n stuffy nost I accidently gave her expired corimnic cold dose to her medicine expired on march 2021. please suggest is there any harm.. please advice as I m really worried.

A. I actually wanted to know I gave her expired coriminic cold syrup will it be harmfull for her please advice

A. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest. As a part of viral illness there could be associated symptocms like cough and fever which neefds treatment accordingly along with a proper hydvration needs to be maintained .
