Ear scratching/eye, nose rubbing is very common at this age group.
It may be due to allergy, I infection, or may be a signs of teething.
If your baby is casually scratching or rubbing at his ear/rubbing eyes,
but seems happy and playful, with only intermittent bouts of fussiness,
then the problem may simply be teething -- a reaction to the tingling of the tooth nerves.
But if scratching most of the times and redness with ear/ear discharge then need consultation with nearest pediatrician
AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 8 m old boy1 Year agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. It is absolutely ok and will change as the baby grows up. Please massage baby with BabyHug coconut oil. Also use Sebamed soap to bathe the baby. Use a good brand moisturiser like BabyHug moisturiser or MamaEarth moisturiser for the baby. Also use a good brand sunscreen lotion for the baby.
Thanks and take care
