For a six year old child would not be considered normal so I think it could probably be due to deficiency of Iron or improper health of scalp so currently I would recommend you to start with Iron supplement and regularly massage good oiling into the hair like you make an onion coconut oil at home that is supposed to be really very good and give at least five almonds and walnuts to the child every day which is rich and high and high Omega3 and six for the child
