Good Morning Ma'am, My son is not speaking, as far he has not started telling mum paa etc.. Please suggest what I should do it.

A. If your son has not started saying basic words like “mama” or “papa” by around 18 to 24 months, it’s important to observe his overall communication. Some children may be late talkers but still understand what you say, follow instructions, or use gestures. You can encourage speech by talking to him regularly, reading aloud, singing nursery rhymes, and limiting screen time. Make eye contact and name things around him often. If there's still little to no progress by age 2, or if you're concerned, consult a pediatrician or a speech-language therapist for early evaluation and support. Early intervention can make a big difference.
