good morning dr my kid is 4 year old he is catching cold and cough twice in month so dr has prescribed montelukast sodium tablet 4 mg for 3 months once a day can I give him daily will it have any side effect?

A. better avoid for such a long period give plaine levovetrizne instead it may be due to allergy also Cough give ambrolite and ambroxol as prescribed by your doctor give saline nasal drops and steam with baby rub avoid exposure to cold weather keep a track on urine output maintain
