Good evening. my baby boy is18 days old now. His pediatrician said to do thyroid test. tsh, t3 levels are normal when he is 6days.again we done a test today morning again tsh, t3 are normal t4 is 4.73ug/dl for 18 days baby. please tell me it is curable or not

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 8 yr 1 m old boy2 years agoA. it is important to follow the instructions and medicines course given by your doctor for the problem . they are safe if given by registered medical practitioner. do not undertake medicines or medical proceduresd not prescribed / guided by the doctor. take a follow up in few days if it is not improving for need of treatment modification d

See that your doctor only can tell you she really cannot give you a confirmation on that so I’m just going to say whatever doubts you have associated with the levels that is showing into the thyroid test you can check with your doctor for a confirmation that you’re looking for
